However, before doing this we recommend that you first make contact with the Booking Secretary who will discuss your booking in general and may suggest you come and visit the hall first to see the layout and facilities in detail.

If you answer 'yes', you will need to apply for a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) at North Devon District Council. Please await confirmation from the bookings secretary that this is acceptable before applying for the licence.

 

Hiring Charges

Once your booking has been confirmed, please pay by BACS bank transfer (preferred), send a cheque or arrange a cash payment for the full amount.

I confirm I am at least 18 years of age.

I understand that fireworks and chinese lanterns are not permitted at all and that any kind of amplified music may only be played within the hall. If my event is in the evening it must finish to leave sufficient time for everyone to be off the premises and the hall secure by midnight.

I also understand that if I cancel my booking up to six weeks prior to the event I shall receive a refund of monies paid less a 10% charge for administration. If I cancel within six weeks of the event there will be no refund.
