Hire Charges from 1 January 2014

A day is split into 3 sessions. A morning is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m, an afternoon is 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and an evening is from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Providing the Hall is available, a single booking of no more than 4 hours could straddle 2 sessions. The Hall must be vacated by the end of the booking.

Charges include heating and lighting, use of tables and chairs, and use of the kitchen and its equipment (crockery, cutlery, etc). The Hall also has a supply of tablecloths, and use of these can be discussed in advance to agree their laundering and return.

Residents of Lee and Lincombe are entitled to a 50% discount on the above rates.
Charges for hiring by a commercial organisation or similar are twice the normal hiring rates.

Separate charging arrangements apply for major functions such as wedding receptions:

Hire of Hall for 3 days £300
    e.g. Friday to Sunday
  This provides time for setting up on Friday and for clearing up on Sunday
Deposit £100 (in addition to hire charge)
  returnable following the function providing everything is in order
Erection of an events marquee on the Meadow £200
  up to 5 days maximum (includes hire of meadow)
Other uses of the meadow £45 per day
  e.g. gazebo, hog roast

Discounts are not available for wedding hire.

Potential hirers are encouraged to make arrangements to visit the Hall and to discuss the Hall’s facilities and their requirements.

Village residents or village groups hiring the Hall on a regular basis are welcome to discuss possible variations in the hiring charge with the Chairman.
